Small Food Producers Network Event: Navigating Health Insurance Options for You and Your Business
Confused about the health insurance options available for you or your business? Want to be sure that you have the best available plan? Interested in learning more on this ever changing topic?
Then join us on Tuesday, April 17th for an informative presentation and Q + A abut your enrollment options with Emily Clark, Program Manager for the Navigator Network at the Community Service Society of New York.
The Community Service Society of New York’s (CSS) Navigator Network can help consumers enroll in health insurance through the Individual and Small Business Marketplaces. This includes help enrolling in Qualified Health Plans, Medicaid, the Essential Plan, Child Health Plus and Emergency Medicaid. All of CSS’s services are free and unbiased, and they help enroll in-person at convenient locations across the state. Navigators have expertise on health options and make appropriate referrals to other services consumers may need.
This presentation will introduce you to the free enrollment services offered by the CSS Navigator program. You will learn how to identify and enroll in the best available health insurance options for you and your employees. Note: this presentation will be relevant for individuals as well as those offering insurance benefits to their employees or those that would like to.
The CSS is an informed, independent, and unwavering voice for positive action on behalf of more than 3 million New Yorkers. CSS draws on a 170-year history of excellence in addressing the root causes of economic disparity through research, advocacy, litigation, and innovative program models that strengthen and benefit all New Yorkers. The CSS Navigator Network is the largest Navigator group in New York State. On average, they help over 55,000 New Yorkers per year enroll or renew their coverage through the New York State of Health Marketplace.
