Apply Now for Evergreen’s Human Resources Training Workshop Series

In the new year, Evergreen will be hosting a special workshop series to help businesses like yours build your capacity to manage your most precious resource–your staff! Whether you have one employee or ten, personnel issues can make a big difference to your bottom line. Having policies in place before you face any action is an incredibly important asset when managing your employees. To help small and growing businesses be prepared, we have put together a human resources training workshop that will cover major human resources topics, as well as address any unique issues faced by course participants.

This free course will run 6 week, and at the end you will have the framework for a complete human resource manual for your company, fully vetted by a licensed attorney. The course will cover all legal components of a human resource manual, as well as provide valuable time with an attorney to discuss specific human resource and legal compliance issues. For a full overview of the 6 sessions, please see the course description (NB: this syllabus is an outline- depending on the final composition of the class, modules may be altered to better fit the needs of the attendees).

Our Human Resources Boot Camp will be taught by Rania V. Sedhom, managing partner at Sedhom Law Group, PLLC. Rania has over 15 years of experience practicing Human Resource Law. She is also a skilled legal and business commentator with appearances on national print and TV media, including L.A. Times, the Chicago Tribune, the Baltimore Sun, Forbes, Inc., Business Week, and CNN Money.

Participation is free, but admission is competitive and seating is limited.  If you have any questions, contact Natalie Vichnevsky at nvichnevsky@evergreenexchange.org or 718-388-7287 x116. To apply, please complete this application and submit it to Natalie Vichnevsky at nvichnevsky@evergreenexchange.org no later than January 4, 2017.
