In 2024 Evergreen staff served 178 individual businesses. One hundred thirteen firms received one-on-one assistance from Evergreen staff on over 187 issues. Business clients looked to Evergreen for a wide variety of services; the most frequently requested services were financial consultations and assistance navigating government. Evergreen was able to help 11 local firms apply for 23 different incentives. Sixty-one firms sent 78 attendees to our informational workshops and multi-week seminars.

Hale and Hearty

Hale and Hearty Soups is back, now owned by CIA-trained Chef Marty Levin, who kept much of the longtime team, including Chef Ruperto Hernandez. From its East Williamsburg facility, it makes 100% natural, halal-certified soups—including fan favorites like Chicken Noodle and New England Clam Chowder—plus vegan options. It’s sold nationwide and has returned to retail with a Chelsea shop and a walk-up window in Brooklyn.
