A Small Food Producers Network Event: Human Resources Seminar: The HR Manual
SFPN’s Fall seminar series is geared towards helping food businesses like yours build your capacity to manage your most precious resource–your staff! Whether you have one employee or ten, personnel issues can make a big difference to your bottom line. Having policies in place before you face any action is an incredibly important asset when managing your employees. To help small and growing businesses be prepared, we have put together a Human Resources Training Workshop that will cover major human resources topics as well as address any unique issues faced by course participants as they relate to the creation of an employee manual.
This free course will run 6 weeks, and at the end you will have the framework for a complete human resource manual for your company, fully vetted by a licensed attorney. The course will cover legal components of a human resource manual, as well as provide valuable time with an attorney to discuss related human resource and legal compliance issues. For a full overview of the 6 sessions, please click here. (NB: this syllabus is an outline- depending on the final composition of the class, modules may be altered to better fit the needs of the attendees.)
Our HR Manual seminar will be taught by Rania V. Sedhom, managing partner at Sedhom Law Group, PLLC. Rania has over 15 years of experience practicing Human Resource Law. Find out more about Rania in the course description here.
Participation is free, but seats are limited, so admission is competitive.
