Evergreen’s Redesigning Your Chart of Accounts Seminar
A Free Five-Session Seminar beginning on October 14, 2020
Your Chart of Accounts forms the basis of the most important business financial statements: the Income Statement and Balance Sheet. So why not make your financial statements work for you by customizing your Chart of Accounts based on how your business operates – not some IRS tax form?! The process of redesigning your Chart of Accounts – which is both art and science – is the *one* thing that can help you demystify and take ownership of your numbers.
If you’re motivated and committed to doing this work for your business’s financial system, then join Evergreen and Elli Papadopoulos of Skopos Collective for this five-part class to help you revamp your Chart of Accounts and get you closer to your business numbers.
Prerequisites for applicants:
Preferably be a Quickbooks Online user. (The examples that will be referenced to show where to find the COA, how it looks in QBO vs. a financial report, how to make updates etc. will all be in QBO.) If you are not a QBO user, feel free to reach out to see if this class is applicable to you.
Have at least one full year of financial data to work within QBO.
Be comfortable sharing and discussing their business and work done in class with other participants.
Be comfortable using the basic functions of Google Sheets.
The course is free but spots are limited – this class will accept no more than ten participants. All sessions will take place on Zoom but the class will be interactive and attendees will be expected to participate.
