Seminar: Mastering Your Business Numbers
A free five-session seminar beginning on September 24, 2020.
Now, perhaps more than ever, the importance of sound financial planning is top of mind for many business owners. This seminar will offer a financial planning overview that will help participants craft a strategy that is equally relevant to long term planning in ‘good times’ as it is to the planning required to weather a crisis.
Join Evergreen and Holly Howard, founder of the small business consultancy ‘Ask Holly How’, for this five-week seminar that will help you build a financial plan for your business with your personal financial goals in mind. This series is an excellent opportunity for business owners to start, or revisit, their current financial plan and to connect the dots between their goals for 2021, their financial plan, and their marketing efforts. Here is what will be covered:
Understanding how to connect your personal needs to your business income
Connecting seasonality to your cash flow planning
Setting financial projections
Key number analysis and production planning
Connecting your marketing analytics to your financial goals
This seminar is appropriate for business owners with at least six months experience, or much more (including legacy businesses). The course is designed for both owners who have an existing financial plan they’d like to update as well as for those who have never done any financial planning. The course is intended for business owners or key decision makers that have the capacity to affect this aspect of the business. Participants should expect to spend at least 1-2 hours per week outside of class working on additional homework.
The course is free but spots are limited. All classes will take place on Zoom but the class will be interactive and attendees will be expected to participate. The application can be found here. Applications are due by September 16, 2020.
Full details and instructor bio can be found here.
