DESCRIPTION:Join the Evergreen team next Thursday\, March 21 to learn more about NYC’s City of Yes (COY) – Zoning for Economic Opportunity (ZEO) plan at our very first “Briefing and Brews” event!  We’ll make a brief presentation about the City of Yes plan and discuss how we believe it might affect businesses in North Brooklyn and throughout industrial NYC. Pizza\, beer and wine is on us! \nCOY ZEO is a suite of significant updates to New York City’s zoning code\, and several of its key proposals are focused on manufacturing districts. The legislation is nearing the end of the ULURP process\, with a vote before the NYC City Council expected next month. DESCRIPTION:This seminar is geared towards helping businesses like yours build your capacity to manage your most precious resource–your staff! \nWhether you have one employee or twenty\, personnel issues can make a big difference to your bottom line. Having policies in place before you face any action is an incredibly important asset when managing your employees. To help growing businesses be prepared\, we have put together this Human Resources Training Workshop that will cover major HR topics as well as address any unique issues faced by course participants as they relate to the creation of an employee manual. \nThis free course will run for five weeks\, and at the end you will have the framework for a complete human resource manual for your company\, vetted by a licensed attorney.
