DESCRIPTION:The Meeker Avenue Plume Community Advisory Group (CAG) will hold a public meeting on Wednesday\, September 11\, 2024 from 6-8 p.m. to hear from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) about the human health and ecological risks of the as Meeker Avenue Plume Superfund site. At this meeting\, you can learn about the risks\, share your concerns and get answers to your questions about the site. Some internal CAG business will also be discussed. If you are interested in becoming involved with the CAG\, we are always accepting new members!\n\nWhat is the Meeker Avenue Plume?\nThe EPA has listed the Meeker Avenue Plume as a Superfund site\, meaning it is a heavily contaminated area slated for cleanup.
