Evergreen is hosting a series of “lunch and learn” online workshops to help you understand the components of successful succession planning and learn what you can do right now to prepare your business for a smooth transition. This event series is for any small business owner considering a transition in the future–no matter how far away that may be. There are steps you can take now to ensure that you are in the best position possible to smoothly transition your business – whether that means transferring the business to the next generation, selling to a competitor or broker or even selling your business to your employees.

- How to evaluate business transfer options including transfer to family members or sale to employees, competitors or a business broker and how to prepare for each
- How to prepare for a business valuation
- Other family business concerns, including how to compensate non business family members
